A decent slasher.

Well, this is a brutal cat and mouse game. I certainly didn't expect this from a film that didn't sound very special to me. Only given a chance because of the best reasonable reviews. Sometimes it is also quite exciting.

He is bloody and brutal for sure. A lot of attention has also been paid to this and the traps look good. They also certainly threw in a lot of horror elements that you recognize again. think of De Held, the cops, the ending and the sex scene and the speed may be there too.

He's just very unbelievable and if you think too much about it, he certainly doesn't make sense. but yeah

Voice raised.

I stick to my original review; you could possibly question the detail with which the central bad guy works. But if this film shows anything, it's that atmosphere in horror is everything, even if it puts the elasticity of your suspension of disbelief to the test.

Impossible how the house is filled to the brim with complex booby traps within a few hours : of course. But if you, as a viewer, are taken per scene in skillfully designed tension, you simply don't have time to find it unbelievable.

Fine camera work, a very ingenious cat-and-mouse game, and an excellent soundtrack. Those three elements in particular constantly force your attention, and I can point out very few moments where the film fails in that regard.

Perhaps an emotional element too much (wife and daughter) or a moment with substandard acting (ditto): the main part convinces for the full pound. And that is not only demonstrably sufficient, but also remarkably rare. I'm just throwing 4.5* at this.
