Nancy Archer is a very wealthy lady. This is the only reason for her husband Harry to stay with her: he would like nothing more than to steal her capital and secretly squeeze it with his sexy girlfriend Honey Parker. Nancy's life suddenly changes drastically after an encounter with an alien visitor. Due to the radiation of the flying saucer, her body takes on immense proportions. Date, but still fun.
Nathan Juran is mostly known for two films, The 7th Voyage of Sinbad and this one, Attack of the 50 Foot Woman[/i ]. Many B-movies are known for their beautiful posters (after all, that's what they had to rely on) and that is no different here. With the difference, of course, that this poster is simply iconic.
[i]Attack of the 50 Foot Woman initially starts more like a movie about relationship problems. Admittedly, that doesn't sound very exciting, but the opposite is true. Despite the fact that there is little sci-fi to be seen at first, it still manages to be entertaining with some nice bits. The short duration helps with this, because it keeps the film nice and fast.
The big turnaround usually takes place in the last 20 minutes. This part is all about sci-fi and action; and in large quantities. This third part more than compensates for the initial lack of it, so that Attack of the 50 Foot Woman manages to get a small 3.5* out of the fire. The obvious aging, which is actually nothing more than natural, does not detract from this.

Anyway, watched it again and secretly quite entertaining nonsense. 
The short playing time ensures that it is at least an easy snack and the humor that was sometimes intended and sometimes unintentional makes it quite fun!
By the way, not too bad for a B movie.

A delightful and short nonsense SF film, typical of the 1950s with a mix of radioactivity and flying saucers. Add some drama and we have a nice movie. Fair to add that especially the poster is iconic, otherwise it would have remained under the radar. Not a top movie, but a nice snack.
