Contergan plot
At the end of the 1950s, lawyer Paul Wegener is delighted that his new partner Bauer is bringing in new business clients. Paul's wife Vera is expecting a baby, but when the child is born, the parents must determine that their child is deformed. Paul is just working on a case where a child with serious abnormalities was also born. He notes that there are great similarities between the two cases and that perhaps the drug Thalidomide could be the culprit. But this is a drug produced by one of the companies that his business partner Bauer introduced. Paul begins to fight against the large corporation with all the means at his disposal...
