Cattle Town plot

"THIS IS CATTLEMAN'S LAND, MISTER...and no man is tough enough to take it away!"

After the American Civil War, the state of Texas needs money and sells plots of land to a syndicate of Northerners led by Judd Hastings. When Hastings claims the land, some illegal ranchers refuse to leave. The governor sends Mike McGann to resolve the matter. In the end, McGann seems to get the ranchers off to other areas with their livestock. But then McGann falls in love with Marian, daughter of Judd Hastings, who is not very popular with the ranchers.
