"Every town has its secrets."
Sarah and Jillian have been friends for so long that they don't even remember when their friendship started. They grew up in Goshen, Indiana and are both very different. Jillian tells Sarah that she's met men online, who she hopes will be one of them who can take her away from the drab village where they live. Soon, Jilian disappears. The only thing Sarah receives from her is a strange text message. Sarah soon becomes further embroiled in the mysteries surrounding Jillian's disappearance and is aided by Jasper, the local computer geek, who is secretly in love with her.
