West 11 plot
"The passion, the vices, the violence of the London district known as West 11"
Work-shy Joe Beckett flees his life in a shabby working-class area of London. He hangs out in jazz clubs and he chases women, but that costs him a lot of money. Former soldier Richard Dyce meets Joe in a nightclub and the two start talking. Richard wants to kill his aunt for her money and Joe does. Joe travels to Richard's aunt's house on the south coast, but Joe loses his nerve. He manages to kill the woman, but accidentally leaves behind evidence.
