Yi Nian Zhi Chu plot

We follow five people on the last day of the old year and the first day of the new year. Pang is a filmmaking assistant and he has long admired the beauty of the actress in the film they are currently shooting. But his insecurity prevents him from reaching out to her and finding out if the feelings are mutual. Taiwanese illegal immigrant, Ding-An, desperately tries to obtain an ID so he can go abroad to visit his ailing father. The drug-addicted Rat wakes up in the hospital with no idea why his shirt is soaked with blood. Finally, two estranged brothers find themselves confused as they try to build the best career possible.
