Partir plot
Suzanne (Kristin Scott Thomas) spends her days in harmony and luxury with her husband (Yvan Attal), a successful surgeon. Yet she misses her former work as a physiotherapist. After the necessary persuasion, he helps her to restart a practice. Her life is turned upside down with the arrival of handyman Ivan (Sergi López), who does some construction work. An instinctive love imposes itself. The attraction to him is so strong that Suzanne leaves her perfectly planned life behind and follows him on a passionate adventure. Her husband refuses to accept the newly created situation. In his frustration and unwillingness to take his loss, he decides to pull out all the stops to get his wife back, whom he considers his property.
