The Pay-Off plot

"The final reward is DEATH!"

New York gangster Rocky steals money from an engaged couple in Central Park that was intended for their wedding day. When his gangster boss learns of the robbery, he returns the couple their money and takes them under his wing. The embittered Rocky now wants to organize a rebellion against his boss, but when he is killed during a robbery, the police suspect the young couple.
