When Frankie plays with his boyfriend in the ruins of a bombed-out area in a London neighborhood, his boyfriend dies while playing. Frankie feels guilty about death. Criminal Len, who has just killed a bar owner during a robbery, learns of the accident. He befriends Frankie, but soon blackmails him and forces him to steal money from his parents. When Len suspects that Frankie is making a connection between him and the murdered bar owner, Len wants to kill Frankie. Frankie runs away.
