The Fat Man plot
"DANGER UNDER THE BIG TOP!"
An innocent dentist is found dead and the sole motive seems to be to steal a series of x-rays of teeth. To the police it looks like an accident, but dental assistant Jane Adams doesn't believe it and she consults the well-known corpulent private detective Brad Runyan. Brad is skeptical at first, until he finds that Jane is being followed. The mystery deepens when Brad sets out to find missing dental patient Roy Clark.
