A Woman's Vengeance plot
Landlord Henry Maurier is very patient with his wife Emily, a neurotic patient with a heart condition. One day, her brother unexpectedly visits with his young friend Doris Mead. That same night, Emily dies of chronic heart disease and Henry marries Doris not long after. Neighbor Janet Spence is not happy about that, because she is in love with Henry. The inquest determines that Emily has been poisoned and Henry is arrested as the prime suspect. But is Henry really guilty?
