"Her Kisses Couldn't Stop This Killer!"
The shadowy and greedy Carolyn Ellenson has married the wealthy Harlow Grant only for his money. Despite this marriage, she has some extramarital affairs. When Harlow falls in love with Louise Nelson, he wants to divorce Carolyn. Carolyn only agrees if she receives a large cash alimony from him. Carolyn, meanwhile, has grown tired of the art critic Wayne Vincent. She traded him for Dick Sawyer, who previously broke off his engagement to Betty Allen. Then Carolyn is found murdered in her studio and the police have several suspects, with Harlow as the prime suspect.

A fine femme fatale noir mix, Marie Windsor plays the role of the mean, nasty, greedy narcissist who only thinks of himself excellently.
Here you can see clearly how even before no fault devor laws in the US, women could manipulate and blackmail their husbands. Imagine what it's like now.
