"A family that wasn't supposed to happen."
Suddenly a woman appears at Jae-su's door. She has no possessions and no place to stay. However, the boy is not very happy to take her home; he assumes she's leaving soon and doesn't really want to get to know her either. He takes every chance he gets to tear her down. But then the boy tells his story and finds out that the woman has diabetes. The boy has had ten stepmothers in the past. Just like that, the boy's father shows up and punches him. Of course the woman tries to stop him. For both of them, this is the beginning of a good relationship.
