"Behind-the-scenes story... as detectives trap killer inside San Francisco's Chinatown at Midnight!"
Clifford Ward is a thief and fine shooter who has his field of work in San Francisco's Chinatown. Clifford can get rid of his stolen goods through an interior and decoration shop, run by Lisa Marcel, who often gives him instructions about what and where to steal. When Clifford finds out through a newspaper article that Lisa has betrayed him, he kills her. Shortly afterwards, two innocent victims resist a (now without Lisa) ill-planned robbery and Clifford hides in a cheap hotel afterwards. However, it looks like the police are surrounding this hotel.
