Eomaeobtneun Haneularae plot

Twelve-year-old Yeong-cheol is all alone. He takes care of his younger brothers on his own. His mother passed away from exhaustion after the birth of his younger brother and his father is mentally disturbed by the trauma he sustained during the Korean War. His neighbors want to send Yeong-cheol and his brothers to an orphanage, but Yeong-cheol has promised his mother that they will always be together.
