A kind of parody on the giallo. Story-wise, it's a variation on Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None which is a typical storyline. But for me there is never anything wrong with it as long as it is well worked out. And in this movie it does. Furthermore, it is a light comedy with some black comic touches. And the comedy is then mainly provided by the detective duo. That's an important approach to look at it that way, otherwise there will only be a failed thriller left. The acting performances are nice enough. The camera work is quite intense with many zooms (I once thought I was in an Umberto Lenzi film), dutch angels, … The films were shot on location in an English castle (Somerleyton Hall) and that is of course fantastic and great for creating an atmosphere.

Not a real high flyer but still entertaining enough.
