När Mörkret Faller plot

The young Elisabeth arrives in Vaestlinge to visit an old relative, a pastor and his young daughter. She wants to spend the last days of the year in peace and quiet, but on the eve of Christmas a grocer is brutally murdered with an axe. Police inspector Christer Wijk arrives in the small village to track down the killer. He soon puts together the evidence, which makes just about everyone suspicious.
