The Mysterious Mr. Valentine plot
"THE PAY-OFF WAS MURDER!"
Young Janet Spencer gets a flat tire on a deserted road one evening and goes to a nearby business to ask for help. Then it turns out her car has been stolen in the meantime. Janet's stolen car is involved in a fatal traffic accident and the dead man's body is put in Janet's car by the car thieves to give the impression that he was the driver. Janet is then blackmailed by the anonymous car thieves using the codename "Mr. Valentine', about the fatal accident and she is forced to help them in their criminal activities.
