At the very least, I expected a lot more from this. Not least that I was intrigued by the cool movie poster. That may well be the case, but that doesn't mean the film is at least as great. What is it actually about? A man summons a demon who complains that another demon has kidnapped his girlfriend. He wants it back. So much for the romantic aspect of the film. I was able to immediately tick off that subgenre from the Horror Challenge.
A film with a lot of whining and dialogue. Not all that interesting, rather annoying. A little later there are some sketches between the two lovers, but I didn't find them very exciting even though they were actually supposed to provide some momentum. Not so.
Daring on the whole, yes. And I also see the irony in it somehow. But it didn't interest me enough to be really euphoric.
