Le Marais plot
Alexandre and Ulysse, two social outcasts in 19th century Eastern Europe, become friends and decide to live on the edge of a swamp that seems to be inhabited by demons, monsters and goblins. Alexandre grew up in a nomadic family, who traveled from city to city. Due to his physical abnormalities, Ulysse was always bullied as a child. When a murder is committed in a nearby village, suspicion falls on the two. In the eyes of the villagers, they are demons to be hunted and killed.
