The Cockeyed Miracle plot

Morgan has passed away and is summoned by the ghost of his father to appear before the 'Court of Heaven'. He was murdered during a brawl in a bar's bar at a young age, but now his son is older than himself. After some amusing efforts to test his ghostly abilities, Morgan decides to linger on Earth for a while to finish a few more things. He is determined to put the brakes on the excesses of his best friend, who was supposed to manage Morgan's savings. But he goes into hiding with the fund, leaving Morgan's widow penniless. One bolt of lightning can solve the whole problem and then Morgan can peacefully go to heaven with his father with his head held high. At least that's what he thinks...
