Alberta plot

Freek (Daniël Boissevain) has a beautiful wife, an adopted son and success in his work as an advertising executive and media guru. But he is not satisfied. He falls hopelessly in love with the mysterious young woman Alberta (Jamie Grant). An escape with her to the region of the same name in Canada to paint the magnificent landscapes there should serve as a cure for his midlife crisis. Unfortunately Alberta soon gets bored in the cottage in the woods. Freek finds out against his will that he is not the successful man he thought he was. And so his midlife crisis turns into a nerve-wracking affair.
