"The screen's most amazing man hunt!"
Crime writer Robert Kirby believes Chris Martin, who was jailed for the infamous "Flower Shop" murder, is innocent. Kirby thinks he knows who the real culprit is and, unable to convince the police, Kirby befriends the suspected culprit and thinks he can gather enough evidence to prove he is the real killer. The fact that Kirby's girlfriend Kitty McDougal is in trouble because of this suspected culprit adds to his evidence.
