Yo Soy la Juani plot
The feisty Juani lives with her loser of a father and stoic mother in a town in a Spanish province. She works in an electronics store behind the cash register. Her macho boyfriend Jonah only thinks about cars and sex and is always jealous. Juani's best friend Vani can only talk about the breast augmentation she dreams of. She is dating Nacho. The four of them try to endure what they see as monotonous daily life. When Nacho abuses Vani and Juani discovers that Jonah is committing adultery, the two girls move to Madrid, where their lives seem to smile on them. But soon their ways part: Vani falls in love and Juani falls into the hands of a slimy film producer who says he will make her a star.
