Winter People plot
"A passion so strong it kills."
A young widower moves with his daughter to the North Carolina village in 1934. He soon becomes involved with a woman in possession of a stolen baby. The widower must prove herself to her father and her three brothers by going on a bear hunt and designing a clock tower for the small village. Trouble arises when it is revealed that the baby's father is the demented son of a dangerous man who lives across the river and wants the baby back.
