The story is set in Los Angeles. Isaiah Bone has scammed several people in the past. He joins a circuit of underground fighters intent on exacting revenge on a ruthless leader of a gangster gang. He ends up in a world where no rules count, he makes his own laws.

Fairly simple film that, in terms of story, is a good source of nutrition for the martial arts and is otherwise not very good within the genre. Michael Jai White is the real surprise here and an absolute asset. He takes the film to a higher level and makes this production seriously worth watching. Of course I'm naive to think that these kinds of movies are based on quality, but Michael Jai White could make it happen with a better script and setting.

A nice idler.
Michael White comes out pretty well as a bad ass fighter who always wins of course. The fights are not bad and for a boring evening it was doable, with a frikandel and a cheese souffle.
The underlying story could also be there.

Stupid, straightforward and completely unoriginal fight film. With accompanying mediocre B-actors and exhausted characters. But the part that movies like this revolve around is perfectly fine. Michael Jai White can deliver a really nice kick. And besides that, he doesn't even act as undeserved as a cool dude of few words. That's why a small enough for me. Despite the fact that the assembly is at times really shockingly bad, and I don't fully understand those pants-tents either.
