The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond plot
After returning from college abroad, Fisher falls in love with Jimmy, the son of an alcoholic father and deranged mother. Fisher tells her aunt, who is in control of the family fortune, that he comes from a good family. When a diamond disappears, this creates tension in the relationship.
