Sutorenjia: Mukô Hadan plot
The orphaned boy Kotaro and his dog are hunted by a battalion of Chinese Ming soldiers. But the murderous samurai of the Japanese Akaike clan are also looking for him. It turns out that the kid, unknowingly, is the key to eternal life. To gain that immortality, the Ming and the Akaike fight each other. Kotaro has befriended the long-haired ex-ronin, whom they call "No Name." Due to a traumatic event in the past, he has sealed his sword and renounced his name. Yet it is he who comes to the aid of Kotaro.
