Fort Worth plot
"When the Lone Star State was split wide open... he linked it together with lead!"
Ned Britt, a former gunfighter, is now a newspaperman in a small Texas town, taking on the illegal activities of cattle baron Gabe Clevinger. This brings Britt into conflict with his old friend Blair Lunsfold, who now works for Clevinger. Things get even more complicated for Britt when Lunsfold's betrothed Flora Talbot falls in love with him. Bloodshed seems inevitable, especially when Clevinger violently opposes the construction of a railway.
