I had to go to the bathroom and paused the film. I thought I was almost at the end, but I was only an hour in. And that said it all. Terribly slow, uninteresting, and boring. Visually beautiful at times (especially the colors at night and the atmosphere of the city; you can just feel the sultry heat) and every now and then a single scene or moment worked, but I couldn't get through it. I did watch the last 40 minutes, but with considerably less attention, that's for sure. 1.0*.
