Women's Prison plot
"Sensational Scandal Rocks Women's Prison!"
An American prison has a women's and a men's wing. The sadistic Amelia van Zant is in charge of the women's wing. Unable to maintain a relationship with a man, Amelia constantly takes her frustrations out on the female inmates. When prison doctor Dr. Crane tries to improve the situation of the prisoners, especially the newly arrived and vulnerable Helene Jensen, he is also exposed to Amelia's destructive behavior. Amelia, but also the female inmates and the prison staff, get into big trouble when inmate Joan Burton turns out to be pregnant. Amalia seems to lose control of the new situation and herself.
