Wake Me When the War Is Over plot
Lieutenant Roger Carrington falls from a plane in the aftermath of World War II and lands in German-occupied territory. Baroness Marlene takes care of him and soon after she develops feelings for the handsome American. In order to keep him, she does not tell him that the war has ended and the baroness manages to keep up appearances for almost 5 years. But then the unwitting lieutenant wants to go out again to fight the Germans.
