Vergeßt Mir Meine Traudel Nicht plot
When Traudel is six years old, her mother dies in the concentration camp of Ravensbrück. 'Don't forget me, my Traudel', is the last sentence in a letter from her mother. Traudel always carries the letter with her, as she first ends up in foster care and then ends up in a home. She broke out of the orphanage when she was seventeen. She bumps into a young man with a motorcycle, the teacher Wolfgang, and lets him take him to Berlin, where she allegedly still has acquaintances. When this turns out not to be true, she clings to Wolfgang so much that he starts to find it annoying. But then the young policeman Hannes Wunderlich takes her in, who lives in a room with Mrs. Palotta with Wolfgang.
