The story takes place in a neglected circus, where the evil clown Smiley plots against the lion tamer Kit Warren who has a crush on Lola Tremain. Smiley pulls the strings to get Kit to duo with Lola's former partner Blaney Lewis. He's counting on a fight and he can get on with Lola.
