Yuan Yang Jian Xia plot
While amorous Wu (Jimmy Wang Yu) and Lianzhu (Ching Ping) run away from their family home, they hear the cries of four young women who are kidnapped. In an attempt to save them from the Red Lotus cult, Lianzhu is captured but Wu is able to escape. He goes back to his in-laws for help, but they are hurt by their running away and don't trust him. A half-hearted rescue attempt is made by a former lover of Lianzhu's, but when it goes wrong, the family is forced to spring into action.
