A young couple begins to renovate their home and encounters a ghost bent on retaliation. In order to survive and set the mind free, they will have to discover the eerie truth. But nothing is as simple as it seems at first.

Annoying film with long-winded scenes and a lot of uninteresting nonsense. Also a film without the slightest form of tension.
After half an hour the first scare. We're going wild, you think, but nothing could be further from the truth. Apart from minor scares, things remain calm in this unexciting story. Not an ounce of goosebumps. Not a shred of excitement. There is also nothing brewing under the skin.
The frequent use of loud noises as a scare effect, as Pazmaster notes above, is indeed quite cheap. It is very indicative of the low horror level and the lack of real glowing scares.
Unimaginative and uninspired, the film, together with the fatally boring characters, drifts to the end with only a little bit of excitement left in it. Fortunately not too much. That wouldn't make sense after this mind-numbing viewing experience.
