"An army of forgotten heroes, all officially dead. They live for combat. Now they've met the wrong man."
Jack Benteen, a Texas Ranger, was once friends with Cash Bailey, the local drug trafficker. The only thing that connects them now is Jack's girlfriend, who used to be Cash's mistress. Sarita voluntarily returns to Cash as a hostage so that Jack won't interfere in his business. It comes to a climax during a major CIA raid.
