The Deal plot

Laura (Penelope Ann Miller) loses her entire family to a tragic fire during her stay in Spain. While preparing to return to the United States, she receives proof from an employee of the American embassy (Henry Thomas) that the fire was not an accident at all. Laura decides to stay and uncover the truth behind her family's death. This decision soon puts her own life in danger. She becomes involved in murder, stolen diamonds, all kinds of cover-ups, and the Colombian mafia.
