This year, the Sinterklaas party is once again in danger. Bad guy Doctor Vleugelaer has devised a plan to earn as much money as possible with a so-called 'Bark Spray'. Anyone who comes into contact with it can only bark. The evil doctor wants to use the spray to deliver the 'Barking Cough' to all the children in the country, so that he can then sell the counter-medicine to all concerned parents for a lot of money. And yes, how do you reach as many children as possible? Via Santa Claus... Dr. Vleugelaer and his henchman Igor disguise themselves and spray all the presents on the steamer with Bark Spray. But if the Petes also come into contact with the stuff, the situation gets completely out of hand. Will Sinterklaas and the famous Club Petes be able to clean the presents on time, or will all children get the Barking cough?
