Petersburg Places and Paintings plot

The Russian-Dutch painter Tatyana Yassievich divides her time between Saint Petersburg, Amsterdam and Berlin. Director Van Lieshout follows her in these three cities, as she takes photos and notes of everyday public spaces: train stations, apartment buildings, canteens. She then paints them in a realistic but simplified style and without people, like stage canvases for the stories that are lived in those places.
