The Black Cat plot
Famed horror writer Edgar Allen Poe gets one more chance to write a story. If he blows this one, he'll be out on the street. Time is running out for Poe, who is in debt. Unfortunately, he has little inspiration. He reaches for the drink and loses his grip on reality. In his own sick world, he is threatened by all kinds of dangers that he faces with brute force. In addition, he is terrorized by a bloodthirsty black cat. This one will horribly destroy his life, or inspire him to write one of his best stories. But meanwhile, the deranged Poe is too far gone to realize which violent chapters are fiction and which are stark reality...
