"5 college kids, one ghostly killer... you do the math."

Student Lauren thinks that the ghost of a little girl haunts her room. Lights flicker and objects move without the involvement of a living soul. Roommates Melina and Alison and boyfriend Diego think Lauren is imagining it. Housemate Grant believes her. He discovers that the student house was once an apartment complex. Little Cara lived in Lauren's room at the time, who fell down an elevator shaft forty years ago. At Thanksgiving, when the house is deserted, the five students decide to hold a séance to summon the girl's ghost. What Lauren and the others don't know is that you can't summon ghosts that are already there. Who they inadvertently do bring back is serial killer Spence. He killed Cara and was executed thirty years ago. The five are like rats in a trap; Spence must return to where he came from before he strikes again mercilessly...
