"There Are Worse Things Than Dying"
During the Christmas holidays, two students travel together by car to their families. Because a heavy winter storm is approaching, they take a faster route over a deserted country road. They soon find out that they shouldn't have done this, as they have to deal with ghosts and the sinister history of the road in question outside of the storm.

What a great battery that car has!
The ceiling light must be off to save the battery
but the headlights stay on for the entire movie!

What starts out as an atmospheric, cool and mysterious horror/thriller ends up being a bit of a flop. This is such a typical film that is bursting with potential, but where the makers have trouble coming up with an exciting and captivating ending. For example, Wind Chill starts very nicely, but the icy wind in the film also makes it go out very quickly.
