Sal Santen Rebel plot

Portrait of the Jewish revolutionary and writer Sal Santen (1915-1998), who, as a member of the Trotskyite Fourth International, supported various resistance movements in the Third World. In 1967 he left politics disappointed to focus on writing. The film focuses on Santen's meeting with his old friend Michel Raptis, with whom Santen ended up in jail in 1961 for illegally aiding the Algerian revolution. They have not met each other since Santen retired twenty years earlier and became a writer.
