When Warren Jeffs was put in charge of the Fundamentalist Church of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS), he applied his dictatorial and sadistic needs to a community vulnerable to exploitation. The FLDS was already a paternalistic religion, with a history of polygamy and child marriage, but Warren took these practices even further. From polygamy to 'mentally justified' rape.
