Nice comedy.

Bright, colorful and sunny. Lots of bland humor that remains quite comical because of its bluntness.

Stiller is a nice character. Don't see him too much in movies, maybe that's why. In any case, it fits perfectly in these types of rolls.

Nice further from the Farrellies that they can keep the film light and chill while relying on lies and misunderstandings quite often. Normally creates an unpleasant atmosphere in comedies, nothing to notice.

Nothing great or overwhelming, but filling the evening and fun to watch once. A song in the car was by far the best moment, it never got really annoying.

Awesome movie. Can't say otherwise. Humor not without suffering, laughter not without burden. Quieter vintage good in these kind of movies. Nice that dad also has a role, we still know him as the father of George Costanza from Seinfeld.

quieter.

As an actor capable of playing quite versatile roles, there was a period when he mainly threw himself into rom-coms or very clumsy comedies. Those will probably be the movies he had the most fun in, although I couldn't really admit that he was so happy in this movie. Rather reluctant to admit.

However, he still comes out as a better role, because Monaghan and Åkerman can be called a lot more boring. Certainly when opponents of Stiller are not very charming and memorable. Stiller just has a sort of standard charm about him that's hard to bust out, and here it once again helps him come out as the best part.

The film has some funny scenes now and then and especially the eccentric content ensures that it is still easy to look away, but in fact, despite all the attempts to make it a bit more special, it is still extremely predictable. Eventually the running time also starts knocking on the door, because the film never manages to justify itself in a way to last 2 hours.

Too bad, because the film does have some genuinely funny moments. Perhaps the more human images are too difficult to combine with the more eccentric and separate images, because the film never feels like a really strongly cohesive whole. A film that I actually completely forgot within a week at the most, so it can't really let itself rise above mediocrity.
