Steve Farrell (Randolph Scott) is an arms dealer whose briefcase containing examples, Colt .45 revolvers, is stolen by a bandit named Jason Brett (Zachary Scott). Because Brett and his gang are going to use these revolvers in their robberies, Farrell is charged with complicity and must single-handedly track down and eliminate the bandits.
