Nat Harbin is a professional con man who, along with his two comrades, now wants to rob Sister Sara. Sister Sara is a spiritualist who recently inherited a large fortune from a Philadelphia banker. Gladden, Nat's girlfriend, has to pose as an admirer of Sister Sara in order to break into her home. But unfortunately for them, not everything goes as planned.

Captivating crime film With Duryea as a professional burglar who and his team manage to steal a valuable necklace from a safe, but the police are on their heels and they have to go into hiding for a while.
Others are also after the jewels, in between we get a character sketch of Nat through flashbacks.
There is enough going on after that to keep your attention and the story remains captivating until the end.
I think it's nice that some more attention is paid to the main character, in that respect it is often more of a drama story than a crime film, but I think the two genres are mixed well together.
