Ben Matthews gives up his old life as a riverboat gambler to settle in Galena with his girlfriend Zoe Fontaine. But a prominent citizen of Galena is murdered on the boat and Ben has to flee from the mob that wants to lynch him on arrival. Will he ever be able to return to clear his name and live a normal life with Zoe?
